To find out the maximum amount of money you can get for your car, enter your vehicle details in the car loan calculator. You then decide on a term and the desired amount, select a term and choose whether you want to continue driving your car or not. All fees for your car loan are then displayed transparently.
Shortly after your request, an employee will contact you to arrange a review appointment. After a successful check, you will receive your money.
Once your vehicle has been successfully inspected, you will either be paid out immediately in cash (up to €9,999) or by PayPal or bank transfer. In the case of a bank transfer, the money will usually be in your account by the following working day at the latest.
What term does a car pawnshop offer?
The term for car pawnshops in Austria is usually 1, 2 or 3 months and can be extended at any time.
Although a classic installment payment is not possible in the pawn shop, you can also reduce your loan amount in parts when extending it - but at least the fees must be paid. The interest is then automatically adjusted to the new, lower loan amount.
If you can neither reduce your car loan nor pay the fees, a 4-week waiting period begins, during which you have the opportunity to make the payment after all. However, you will no longer be able to use your car during this period.
Your car will then be auctioned off. Any surplus will of course be paid out to you immediately, minus the fees.
Selling your car is the better option if you are patient and can do without your vehicle in the long term. However, if you urgently need money and plan to just borrow the money, a car loan is the better solution. It is important that you only use this option for short-term bridging, as the costs are higher compared to a longer-term bank loan.
