How do I find out if my bag is genuine?
No problem! Take advantage of the opportunity to have your bag checked for authenticity by CASHY. For a fee, you will also receive a certificate of authenticity, which further increases the value of your bag. There are also a few clues that you can use to determine whether your designer bag is genuine. We have summarized some examples for you here:
Bottega Veneta: The inner lining must be made of the same material as the outer fabric and in the same color. Adhesive residue indicates a counterfeit. The label must be sewn directly into the lining and the writing in the leather must not be blurred. Make sure that the bag is completely symmetrical. The zippers must be of high quality - usually the color is gold.
Burberry/Burberrys: Both the spelling "Burberry" and "Burberrys" are correct. Check the logo against the Burberry logo - note that labels are not proof of authenticity. Only one thread color is used for the stitching per bag and the stitches are even and tight. The gold metal tags are the same on the outside and inside (used from 2014 - they are silver on older models). The country of origin of all Burberry bags is always Italy. In addition to Italy, current Burberry bags can also come from England, Spain, China, Romania, Turkey or the USA. The horizontal and vertical stripes always have an angle of 90 degrees to each other. The lines are always clear and never mixed with other colors.
Céline: Genuine Céline bags are always made of high-quality leather. The smell is heavier than that of a plastic bag. Check whether the seams are of high quality and cleanly finished. Also check whether the logo has the accent on the "é" and whether "Made in Italy" is embossed on the inside of the bag. You will also find the serial number on a sewn-in leather patch in every Céline bag. This always consists of one letter, then two letters and four digits.
Chanel: You will also find the serial number on the inside of the Chanel bag. It used to be attached to a white sticker in gold, but for over 20 years it has still been on a white sticker, but is attached below the two Chanel logos. You can recognize the real logo by the two intertwined "C "s facing away from each other. It can be found on the zipper and also on the shoulder chains and in metal links. Your Chanel bag should also not smell of plastic or glue.
Gucci: Make sure that the Guccissima logo (GG) is always clearly visible and runs evenly. The logo on the leather bags is always punched and not printed. The seams must be even and clean. Each Gucci bag has a flap on the inside that bears the words "® GUCCI made in Italy". Make sure that the letters are even and that the "U" on the left-hand side is slightly thicker. The zipper and other metal parts also feature the Gucci lettering. The model number, which is located on the inside of the back, usually has 10-13 digits and two lines.
Louis Vuitton: The mustard yellow logo on the Monogram canvas bags is not smooth, but applied in lines. In counterfeits, the flower is usually smooth or irregularly dotted. The multicolor consists of 33 different colors on a white or black background, whereby the white bags are always red on the inside and the black ones are dark grey. With a few exceptions, the model numbers usually consist of two letters (or A1/A2) and four digits.

We offer you the greatest flexibility thanks to our daily billing. You can of course retrieve your bag before the end of the term. It is also possible to extend your pawn loan in good time.
We keep your bag safe for you in our video-monitored warehouse during the credit period. It is also insured for 1.5 times its value while it is stored by us.
No, unfortunately this is not possible with CASHY. We only grant pawn loans to legitimate owners of collateral.
You have the option to extend your pawn loan during the term. If you are unable to extend your pawn loan or repay it within the agreed term, your bag will be auctioned off after a waiting period and notification by CASHY. If the proceeds less the fees exceed the amount of your pawn loan, you will be paid out the difference. However, your debt is also settled if a lower amount is realized at the auction.
Yes, all customers who wish to take out a pawn loan with CASHY must be of legal age.
You can have the money for your bag paid out in cash or as a transfer to your PayPal or bank account. Due to the Money Laundering Act, cash payouts are possible up to a maximum of EUR 9,999. For higher payout amounts, the difference will be transferred to your account.
The costs for a pawn loan with CASHY are made up of the issuance fee, interest (1.75% per half month) and the custody fee. We show you how much the fees for a pawn loan for a bag with a term of 30 days are and how they are made up:
