A car or motorcycle pawn loan is a so-called short-term tangible asset loan. You use a vehicle or several vehicles as a pledge for cash or the transfer of a sum of money to your account.
Example: You make an appointment with CASHY and use a car as collateral for a sum of money for a period of 30-90 days. At the end of the agreed period, you can extend the pawn loan for your vehicle for a fee or redeem it.
The costs for a car pawn loan or motorcycle pawn loan with CASHY are made up of the issuance fee, the interest, the handling fee and, if applicable, the custody fee.
In the following example, we show you how high the fees for a 30-day car pawn loan are and how they are made up:
Loan amount: € 3.000,-
Issuance fee: € 25.00
Interest per month: € 90.00
Manipulation fee per month: € 120.00
Custody fee: € 0,00
Total fees per month: € 235.00
You pay a total of € 613.00 after 3 months.

The term for a car pawn loan is 1-3 months and is suitable for short-term bridging. However, you can extend your pawn loan at any time. The interest is 36% per year, the handling fee is 15% per year and the handling fee for continued use is 36%. However, we recommend that you repay your pawn loan at the end of the term of 1-3 months.
Yes, we can only issue pawn loans for vehicles that are in working order. You must also bring it to the inspection so that we can check its current condition.
Yes, in Austria this is possible without any problems. Once you have taken out a pawn loan with CASHY, you can continue to use your car until repayment or extension, depending on the term.
If you continue to use your vehicle, you can borrow up to EUR 10,000 from CASHY. If you need more money, you can also park your car with CASHY. If you park your car, you can borrow up to EUR 200,000 from us and also pay fewer fees.
If you don't need your car during the term, you can also leave it with CASHY for a parking fee. The advantage of this is that your fees are lower and you can get a higher payout amount.
No, this is not possible. Unfortunately, you cannot pawn leased vehicles or vehicles that have been financed by the bank with CASHY.
Only a few steps are required to obtain a car loan:
Enter in the form and receive a direct offer for the possible loan amount. You can also adjust the loan amount downwards directly if you want to borrow less money.
A CASHY employee will make an appointment with you to check your vehicle.
If everything is in order, you will receive your money immediately and can still drive your car if you wish.
At the end of the loan term of 1, 2 or 3 months, you can either extend your pawn loan or repay it. You also have the option of repaying only a partial amount.
Unfortunately, this is not possible with CASHY. During the temporary continued use of your vehicle, you may only use it for personal use. National borders may not be crossed during the rental period. You can find out more about this in our GTCs.
Yes, a valid license plate is a basic requirement for obtaining a car loan from CASHY.
